As interlinking of rivers is a temporary solution, revival of rivers is the only a permanent solution, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandra Babu Naidu said. Participating in ‘Rally for Rivers', a campaign launched by Isha Founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva to replenish the dying rivers in the country, reached Amaravati on Wednesday, Naidu has explained how AP is fighting for fulfillment of needs of water deficiency areas. "We have created history by linking Krishna and Godavari rivers", Naidu said. “To protect water resources, we have taken several initiatives including 57,587check-dams, 6.2 lakh farm ponds and thousands of Ponds", the CM said.
