Reject dynasty, stay with BJP: PM to Gujarat

In an open letter to people of poll-bound Gujarat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged voters to embrace development over communalism and reject those who are promoting dynastic politics by giving opportunity to the BJP to serve Gujarat.

The BJP cadres are distributing the letter to electors as part of Maha Sampark Abhiyan — door-to-door campaign — launched by BJP president Amit Shah on Tuesday from his erstwhile Assembly constituency Naranpura in Ahmedabad.

“Gujarat and development have become synonymous over the past two decades. People are getting 24x7 electricity, high agriculture growth, security for everyone, even females can go out in the midnight without any fear. Gujarat is the soil of opportunities for those who want to grow. There are opportunities in every field ranging from business, education, employment etc,” said the letter written in Gujarati.

Modi also claimed that in the past 22 years Gujarat has created its own identity not only in India but across the globe under the successive BJP.  The people of India have given me responsibility to serve the nation three years ago.

During that period, lives of crore of people changed following pro-people initiatives of Central Government,” said PM Modi in the letter adding that his Government has created development opportunities for every one ranging from tribal, poor, underprivileged, women, Dalits, farmers, fishermen and youth.

Without naming the opposition party, he trained his guns on Congress party in the letter saying that in the past some elements spread poison of communalism in Gujarat just for their political interest, such elements have again activated for the same purpose.

For the bright future of youngsters and to give new height to Gujarat, it is everybody’s responsibility to stay away from communal and dynastic elements, he says. In the end he said that development was the only solution of all the problems.
