Former Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has lost his Z-plus security cover on Friday. As soon as decision to impose President’s Rule was taken and Reddy’s innings as caretaker Chief Minister came to an end on Friday, the number of vehicles in his convoy was reduced to three.
The convoy includes one bulletproof and two other vehicles. Along with five Scorpio cars, an ambulance has also been withdrawn. Sources said that the decision to make changes in his security was taken after a review by the State Intelligence Department.
