Rao warns rebels, says no alternative forums, platforms will be tolerated

Karnataka BJP in charge Muralidhar Rao, who was rushed to Bengaluru to  defuse the situation in the party, on Sunday warned the rebels and said “Party won’t allow any forum or platforms other than the party forum.”

Addressing a press conference in Bengaluru after assessing the situation, Rao said “I repeat and reiterate that there is no need for anybody to float any organisation outside the party— call it forum- brigade or give any name. This is the instruction from the party leadership.”

The warning after assessing the situation, which led to internal feud which has dented the image of the party ahead of the ensuing Assembly polls, has in a way a setback to KS Eshw-

arappa and the people behind the rebellion who openly came out against party chief Yeddyurappa.

Rao also said the party will fight against the ruling Congress Government and its maladministration to make Congress mukth Karnataka.

The sacking of four members might help Yeddyurappa but many feel it was only temporary and might find ways to increase the strife.
