The long wait of 500 years for the Ram temple in Ayodhya is now over, said Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Trust president Sant Nritya Gopal Das. The grand Ram temple will be inaugurated in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024.

He said the inauguration of the temple in the lifetime of people like him is like a dream come true.

On receiving information about Sant Nritya Gopal Das’ arrival at industrialist Satish Gaur’s residence on ITI Road, a large number of people reached for his darshan.

Talking to the media, Nritya Gopal Das said, “We all were waiting for thousands of years for a grand temple of Lord Ram to be built in Ayodhya. There was a long struggle for this. But, we all worked with patience. Finally now that wait is about to end. The historic inauguration of the temple will take place on 22 January 2024 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and five thousand saints. Everyone is happy about this.”

However, owing to his poor health, he did not talk much and did not answer most of the questions put to him by the Press. After some time he went to meet the people and supporters. People took his blessings. Industrialist Satish Gaur said that his family was associated with Mahant Nritya Gopal Das since 1992. “It is our good fortune that we keep getting the blessings of Mahantji,” he said. Many local leaders and BJP officials including MLC Dr. Manvendra Pratap Singh also reached the venue to see Mahant Nritya Gopal Das.
