he Government of Rajasthan, in collaboration with IMC India Securities Private Limited (IMC India) and Sesame Workshop India Trust (SWIT), has launched Khelo, Seekho, Badho, Rajasthan, a groundbreaking three-year initiative to revolutionize Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) in Baran, an aspirational district under the Government of India’s Aspirational District Program (ADP).
Formalized through a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the program aims to create a scalable, evidence-based ECCE model that integrates Foundational Learning (FLN) and enhanced Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) practices within the Anganwadi Centre (AWC) ecosystem. Set to begin in 2025, the initiative will target 8,000 children and 500 Anganwadi Workers (AWWs) in Kishanganj and Atru blocks, promoting quality, play-based early education.
This collaborative effort is poised to set a benchmark for early childhood education, fostering holistic development and laying a strong foundation for future learning in one of Rajasthan’s most underserved regions. Our collective goal is to make every Anganwadi a joyful and stimulating learning space where children explore, imagine and grow with confidence.” said Vasudev Malawat, Director, Integrated Child Development Services, Rajasthan; Dharmveer Meena, Deputy Director – IEC, Integrated Child Development Services Rajasthan and Gurdarshan, Join Director — Monitoring, Integrated Child Development Services Rajasthan.
