AIMIM President and member of Parliament from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi has lashed out at the Prime Minister Narendar Modi for his silence over the gory killing of a Muslim man in Rajasthan in the name of “love jehad”.

Addressing a public meeting in Golkonda area of Hyderabad to mark the Prophet’s Birthday celebrations last night Owaisi said, “Modi gets hurt when a Congress leaders make an abusive remark against him and publicly condemns it many times. Why is he silent when a man Afrajul Khan was brutally murdered in Rajasthan in the name of love jihad”.

He asked sarcastically how a 50 year old man can be involved in so called “love jihad”. Referring to the video of Rajasthan incident, he said, “It was such a barbarity that a man was axed and then burnt alive. It should have caused a storm across the country but there is a total silence. It is an attack on secularism and constitution of the India”, he said.
