Natives of Uttarakhand living across Delhi-NCR will get a chance to reconnect with their mountain roots this week, as “Shri Ram Sevak Parvatiya Kala Manch” stages its annual two-day Uttrakhandi Ramlila at Pyarelal Auditorium, ITO, on October 17 and 18.
Now in its third consecutive year, the event is organised to offer the Uttarakhandi community residing in Delhi-NCR a brief yet special glimpse of their traditional performing art, according to the organising committee. Dialogues are rendered through Chaupais, Dohas and Sorathas, set to Classical and Semi-Classical Ragas including Bhairavi, Malkauns, Jaijaivanti, Bihag, Pilu and Maan.
