Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat were among the distinguished personalities who greeted eminent jurist Justice VR Krishna Iyer, the former Supreme Court judge whom Keralites respectfully describe as the Patriarch of Judiciary and Tower of Justice Conscience, on his 100th birthday on Thursday.
“Warm birthday wishes to an icon in Indian public life, VR Krishna Iyer as he turns 100. I pray that he is blessed with good health,” Modi said in his tweet greeting the jurist. “Justice Iyer’s life and work are an inspiration to all of us. My interaction with him have been enriching,” the Prime Minister said.
