The Raipur Municipal Corporation meeting was adjourned twice on Tuesday after Congress corporators created pandemonium, shouted slogans, and threw a flower pot at the desk of the president alleging poor sanitation in the city.
The trouble started when the Congress corporators demanded a discussion on the sanitation arrangement in the city in the general meeting of the corporation. The corporators were angry when the discussion was denied and the corporation president Sanjay Srivastava said the discussion will be held as per the agenda. They corporators shouted slogans and threw a flower pot at the desk which went broken and the mud fell on the dress of the president making it dirty.
