PNS

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has said that the State Government has stood up to the aspirations and expectations of the people, despite the challenges of the Code of Conduct, Covid-19 epidemic and economy due to various elections. Even in such odd circumstances, we have fulfilled more than 50 per cent promises in manifesto in just two years. Now it is our effort to increase the pace of development and fulfill all the promises made to the people and establish Rajasthan as a model of good governance.

Gehlot was addressing a state level function organized at the Chief Minister's residence on Friday to mark the completion of two years of the state government. He and members of the State Council of Ministers inaugurated, laid and inaugurated 1362 development works costing Rs 11 thousand 230 crore through video conference.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the conduct of the REIT exam on 25th April. 31 thousand third grade teachers will be recruited through this examination. As an important initiative in the direction of e-governance, he dedicated the public welfare portal giving information about the schemes and programs of all the departments. Along with this, he also released the literature published by the Information and Public Relations Department with an aim to inform the public about the welfare schemes of the state government.

The Chief Minister said that about 22 years ago, when I became the Chief Minister for the first time, our government started to make the Election Manifesto a policy document. This was the first example of the commitment shown by any government to fulfill its promises. We have also made the public manifesto this time as a policy document of the government.

Gehlot said that the Covid-19 epidemic has had a profound impact on all the economies and development works of Rajasthan as well as the entire country and the world. Despite this, our government is working to provide relief to every section by efficient management. Turning this disaster into an opportunity has strengthened the state's medical infrastructure with far-reaching thinking. We are making strong arrangements for safe transport, storage and vaccine.

The Chief Minister said that while there was no power in the state at the time of independence, today we have become self-sufficient in the field of energy.
