Osmania University Campus rocked by the students’ protest against the decision to shift the Indian Science Congress (ISC) to Manipur on Wednesday.
As soon as the news of ISC Association’s decision to shift the venue from Osmania University to Manipur University spread on Wednesday, angry students came out and held a noisy protest.
They blamed the inefficiency of the Vice Chancellor and the Registrar for the University losing the
prestigious event to Manipur.
105th Indian Science Congress was to be held from January 3 to 7 at the Osmania University but the programme was cancelled at the last minute after the Vice-Chancellor expressed his inability to host the event on the grounds of security problems.
