All the Opposition MlAs from INlD, SAD, BJP and HJC were suspended from the House on last day of Budget session when they tried to raise anomalies in the CAG report which was tabled in the House on Monday.
As the CAG report was tabled in House, INlD MlAs Abhay Chautala and Ram Pal Majra raised questions on allotment of five acres of land in Gurgaon to the Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and land given to DlF, in which CAG pointed that irregularities took place. On allotment of five acres of land in Gurgaon to Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust, CAG questioned move and slammed Haryana Government for “undue favour bestowed on trust”. Similarly, on land given to DlF, CAG said that non-verification of valuing of land by adopting wrong factor resulted in loss of Rs 438.91 crore to State. Chautala alleged that Speaker didn’t allow then to discuss such an important issue related to public exchequer. Majra, wanted to discuss issue related to Robert Vadra-DlF land deal, which was also not allowed by the Speaker. Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that CAG report is always first discussed in meeting of Public Accounts Committee. It is never discussed in House in session. A representative of the CAG also attends the meeting.
