A day after expelling two leaders close to Samajwadi Party general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, UP SP president Shivpal Yadav packed off seven top youth leaders, including chiefs of four frontal outfits. All those shown the door, are members of CM Akhilesh Yadav’s core team.

Those who got the boot are legislative Council members Sanjay lathar, Sunil Singh Yadav aka Sunil Sajan and Anand Bhadauria.

Besides, national and State presidents of Mulayam Singh youth brigade Gaurav Dubey and Mohammad Ebad, state chief of Yuvajan Sabha Brijesh Yadav and state president of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha (the students’ wing) Digvijay Singh Dev, were also expelled.

Earlier on Sunday, Shivpal Yadav had expelled Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav’s nephew and MlC Arvind Yadav and his kin Akhilesh Kumar Yadav alias Chandgiram from the party for anti-party activities.  Arvind Yadav was elected unopposed to the Council earlier this year while  Akhilesh is a former village prdhan from Sefai block of Etawah.

In his order issued on Monday, Shivpal said the seven leaders were expelled from the party for anti-party activities and making ‘derogatory remarks’ against party chief Mulayam Singh Yadav.
