Not only apps, hit harder: Mamata

PNS

Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday said that banning Chinese apps would not suffice and demanded stricter action to teach the north-eastern neighbours a lesson so that they “do not dare look at our mother land.”

Responding to questions on what she felt about India banning the Chinese apps Banerjee said “normally the stance of our party is not to meddle with in international affairs and we strongly stand by the decisions that our Government takes to tackle Chinese designs but my suggestion is that our steps should not be half-hearted.” Whatever decision India takes should be fully and vigorously implemented, she said adding “we want more steps to be taken so that no one dares look at our motherland. They should be given a befitting reply.”
