With the lok Sabha poll knocking on the door now, the BJP’s prime ministerial nominee Narendra Modi is all set to address more than two rallies in the crucial State of Bihar next month. Modi is all scheduled to address rallies in Muzaffarpur and Purnia on March 3 and March 10 respectively.

Earlier, Narendra Modi had addressed party's impressive Hunkar Rally at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan on October 27 last year which was marred by a series of bomb blasts allegedly by Indian Mujahideen operatives. Now, the BJP’s PM nominee once again has geared up to visit Bihar more than twice next month to address people in different corners of the State.

“Modi’s Muzaffarpur rally will be held at the Police line Ground on March 3 in which lakhs of party leaders and workers are likely to participate,” said state BJP president Mangal Pandey. Pandey further charged the State Government of providing the party a smaller ground where nor many people could gather at the rally. “In view of inadequacy of the venue made available for the BJP prime ministerial candidate’s meeting in Muzaffarpur, the BJP has asked the district administration to allot both residential and training ground at the police lines to accommodate an expected huge turnout but it was not done till date,” said Pandey.

The State BJP leaders, however, are pushing their best foot forward to get both the grounds for the Muzaffarpur rally to make it a mega success. RJD chief lalu Prasad too had earlier announced to hold a party rally on the same day in Muzaffarpur and had applied for the allotment of the same ground from the district administration but on first come first basis he was finally denied the ground. Now, the RJD has cancelled its Muzaffarpur rally and instead, has decided to go ahead with their lalu Tea stall programme, an another Modi copy of ideas.

The senior state BJP leader Shushil Kumar Modi, meanwhile, has announced that the party's PM candidate Narendra Modi is also scheduled to address another party rally on March 10 at Ranbhoomi ground in Purnia. Political observers of the state believe that NaMo's Purnia rally assumed significance in view of the district and adjoining constituencies have a large population of the minority community. "People from all the neighboring districts like Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria too would come to the rally of Narendra Modi which will definitely set a new political tone in the Seemanchal area", said one political pundit. The buzz in state political circle is that Narendra Modi is also likely to address two more rallies in Bihar next month at Gaya and Bhagalpur but the dates have not been finalized yet.
