Breaking his silence over the allegations levelled by former Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal and his two sons for taking loan from a private individual having business stakes in the State, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh said that they should cite the law which deters him from doing so.
“They (Dhumal family) are questioning my loan taken from an individual but they should come up with requisite law which deters me from taking loan from a private individual,” said Chief Minister after the oath-taking ceremony of MlA Mansa Ram as Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS). “I am regularly filing my Income Tax returns and affidavits which clearly mention my loan taken from an individual and I have nothing to hide,” said Singh, adding that Dhumal and his two sons are indulging in cheap politics.
“Is there any law under Income Tax which prohibits an individual from taking loan from other individualIJ I and my wife have filed affidavits during elections which clearly stated our movable and immovable assets,” said the Chief Minister.
