Even as thousands of fans of actor Pavan Kalyan started gathering in the city for his launch into active politics, his stillborn political party ran into a major controversy over its title.
Party’s name “Jana Sena” has become a bone of contention between the actor and another person. One Balaraju claimed his right over the name of “Jana Sena” saying he had already registered the name with the Election Commission more than a month ago. Balaraju said in Hyderabad that he too was a fan of Pavan Kalyan but his admiration was confined to films. “The actor is trying to hack the name of Jana Sena which legally belongs to me,” he said and advised the actor to choose another name. “If necessary I will wage a legal battle,” said Balaraju.
“I have founded my political party to work for the welfare of the people”.
