As BJP president JP Nadda on Wednesday held a “tiffin meeting” with party workers of western Uttar Pradesh as “public out-reach programme” ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the other senior leaders and Union Ministers continued to highlight the ‘achievements’ of the Modi-Government in last nine-years under the party’s moth-long awareness drive.

Commenting on the ‘achievements’ of the Modi-government, Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat said it “restored the faith of people in the system”. He said In last nine years, the Modi-government has been able to reach out to the poor and “make last mile delivery without any discrimination.” A number of Union Ministers have been focusing on the performance of the nine-years under the party’s porgramme which is to last for a month.

A day before Union Minister Amit Shah tweeted as how Mudra scheme “empowered women” in the country and Union Fisheries , animal husbandry and dairying minster Purushottam Rupala lauded the Modi-government for launching mobile veterinary units and supported states by funding 60 per cent of recurring costs.

On Wednesday Shekhwat while listing ‘nine-year milestones’ , also targeted Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, saying his prime focus was on saving his “kursi” (chair) while the state was hitting the bottom in progress.

He said the Congress government in the state has “completely failed” in implementing schemes, including those centrally-sponsored.

Highlighting the achievements of the Modi government since 2014, Shekhawat claimed that there has been a “visible change” in the lives of the people over the nine years as the benefits of the welfare schemes, launched by the Centre, are reaching the last person.

BJP President who has been meeting prominent and common people in his out-reach programme held a ‘tiffin meeting’ in Noida. Two days ago Nadda had met Lieutenant General (Retd) AS Lamba in his Gurgaon home.

As about Nadd’s ‘Tiffin meeting’ where all senior leaders of the western UP took their lunch with him while discussing organizational issues, the BJP’s Noida Mahangar president Manoj Gupta said on “The ‘tiffin meeting’ is part of the BJP’s mega public outreach program ahead of the 2024 general elections,”
