Gujarat CM Narendra Modi on Monday blamed the Congress for using CBI as weapon for political purpose. The BJP’s newly inducted Campaign Committee chief also warned CBI personnel that they shouldn’t allow the Congress to misuse them as the UPA Government would not remain in power permanently.
Modi was addressing a function organised for giving employment letters to a large number of youngsters as part of the Swami Vivekananda Youth
Employment Week. He said that the Congress might try as many attempts using the Central investigation agency but would not able to stop the development journey of Gujarat.
“The nation has lost its faith in the CBI. Because of politicisation, it has become Congress Bureau of Investigation. Every now and then the Central Government hatches conspiracies and their biggest tool for such activities is CBI. The agency is being used up to the extent to trouble innocent people,” said the CM.
