Three cases of violation of Model Code of Conduct, including ‘dream girl’ Hema Malini, have been registered with Mathura, Varanasi and Gonda districts respectively.
In Mathura, a case of violation of Model Code of Conduct has been registered against cine actress and BJP candidate Hema Malini and her supporters with the Gowardhan police station. The action was taken by the administration of Hema Malini, without seeking prior permission took out a huge processing having a cavalcade of over 30 four-wheelers and a large number of two-wheelers. In Varanasi, a similar case has been registered against AAP leader, Arvind Kejriwal, who not only took out procession but also hold a meeting without seeking permission from local administration in Varanasi on Tuesday. A case was also lodged against two Samajwadi Party candidates and some workers for holding a programme without any permission in Gonda.
