In a shocking killing at lakhimpur Kheri, a man beheaded his 50-year-old wife in a fit of rage early Monday morning and walked down to the a nearby police outpost carrying the severed head in his hands and surrendered. The cops later rushed to the scene of crime and sent the severed head and body for autopsy. The husband, identified as Ram Sewak, was arrested and sent to jail.
As per reports, Ram Sewak and his wife Usha Devi had an argument over a family matter on Monday morning. “Sewak lost his temper and brutally attacked his wife with a ‘khurpa’ (shovel like tool) beheading her in the process. He then went to Behjam police outpost with his the severed head and surrendered. A case of murder was lodged and he has been sent to jail,” Station Officer of Neemgaon police station, DK Singh said.
Singh said the couple used to reside at Behjam are of the district and gone to the fields for routine work on Monday morning. “There they had an argument after which Ram Sewak killed his wife.,” Singh said.
