The Maharashtra BJP has demanded a CBI inquiry into the road mishap leading to the untimely death of senior party leader Gopinath Munde in New Delhi on Tuesday morning.
Making such a demand, State BJP spokesperson Awadoot Wagh said that the circumstances leading to the road mishap which contributed to Munde’s death had arisen suspicions. “Only a CBI inquiry can throw light on whether there was any foul play in the mishap,” Wagh said.
Making a similar demand, late Munde’s close confidant Prakash (Anna) Shendge said: “At such an early hour there is not much of traffic in the where the road mishap took place in Delhi. Since the mishap has taken place at such an hour, there is a reason to suspect foul play. We demand a CBI inquiry into the circumstances leading to Mundeji’s death”.
