Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, who had resigned as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh in protest against the bifurcation of the State, launched his Jai Samaikya Andhra party in Rajahmundry  on Wednesday with a vow to teach an unforgettable lesson to the Congress party.

“We are here to fight for the Telugu Atmagauravam (Telugu self repsect) and teach a lesson to those who tried to trample over our dignity,” he said. “The Congress is not aware of the power of the punch of Godavari people”, he said warning that the Congress party will be wiped off in the coming elections.

He also blamed all the other major political parties including the BJP, Telugu Desam Party and the YSR Congress for the bifurcation of the State. “I tried to stop the division and even resigned as the Chief Minister in protest,” he said seeking the support of the people to continue his fight.

“Telugu people will remain united and no force on earth can divide them. Even the people of Telangana want to remain united’, he said. Questioning the manner of division of the State, he said that the students were going to face a lot of problems in higher education and jobs. The public meeting was also addressed by the expelled Congress MPs Harsha Kumar, Sabbam and V Arun Kumar and former Minister P Satyanarayana.
