I've been misquoted by Opposition: Shah

PNS

Bharatiya Janata Party national general secretary and in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, Amit Shah has thanked the people of the State for turning out in large numbers to vote in west UP on Thursday. “I have been misquoted and implicated by the Opposition parties who have communalised the country by dividing the communities,” he said in a statement here on Thursday. Appreciating the huge turnout, Shah said the voting itself is the reply against the Congress, Samajwadi Party and the BSP.

“'The voting pattern was a proof that people want a change and they have rejected other parties,” he claimed. Shah said that the record corruption by the UPA Government in its two term and the act of an inefficient Prime Minister had made the people of the country angry against the Congress and those parties who had supported the Central Government.
