SC pulls up AWBI for not having data on elephants
New Delhi: The Supreme Court pulled up the Animal Welfare Board of India (AWBI) for not having data on number of elep-hants held in captivity and directed chief wildlife wardens of all States to conduct survey to identify and ascertain such elephants.
