A 25-year-old IAS aspirant has been allegedly raped in Mukherjee Nagar area on the pretext of marriage. She claimed that the accused had promised to marry her but had been avoiding her lately. According to her complaint, she had been in a relationship with Ashutosh — a clerk in the coaching institute she studies in — for past 11 months during which he compelled her to get into a physical relationship promising marriage. The girl’s family has, reportedly, also transferred certain amount of money to the accused’s account as a token of wedding gift. But, the accused had been avoiding her for past few days.
Meanwhile, Ashutosh has refuted all the allegations and claims that he is being victimised.
