At the centre of a controversy over the dowry harassment charges levelled against her by a city-based housewife, self-styled godwoman Radhe Maa on Monday broke her silence, denied all the allegations against her and claimed that she was “pure and pious.”
Interacting briefly with mediapersons at Malbar Hills’ Walkeshwar area, Radhe Ma said: “I have not hurt anyone....I am pure and pious.”
Fifty-year-old Radhe Maa, who was touring parts of Maharashtra, landed in Mumbai on Sunday night. “Jo bhakt mere paas aate hain un par bhagwan meher kar deta hai (whoever becomes my devotee, God helps them),” Radhe Maa said.
Radhe Maa has been summoned by the Kandivli police later this week for questioning in connection with a dowry harassment complaint lodged against her with the police by one Nikki Gupta.
