I am alive and safe, says Akbaruddin Owaisi

PNS

Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Akbaruddin Owaisi, who was subject of wild rumours over the last few days, on Sunday appeared in public to strongly deny the reports that he was no more.

Inaugurating the free summer camp for the poor children in his constituency under the aegis of his Group of Owaisi Schools of Excellence, MIM MlA Akbaruddin said that miscreants had deliberately spread the rumours of his death to create tension in the city during the ‘Hanuman Jayanti’ procession but he was well by the grace of God.

Akbaruddin, who was arrested by the police in January last on the charges of making a hate speech and had to spend almost one and a half month in jail, spoke for the first time in public after his release. He promised to continue to work to uplift the minorities educationally and economically.
