In a twist, the rape allegation in Hamirpur incident turned out to be fake with police claimed that the pathological test did not affirm the same on Thursday.
The 24-year-old woman had accused a police sub-inspector Rahul Pandey of raping her inside a police station when she had gone there to secure her husband’s release. The woman has alleged that SI posted at Sumerpur police station, raped her on June 9 night when she had gone there to get her husband released. She also had accused three other policemen of assisting Pandey in the alleged act.
IG law and order Amrendra Sengar said the allegation leveled by the woman was false and rape was not confirmed in the medical test done on her.
