BJP-PDP alliance Government headed by Mufti Mohd Sayeed on Monday failed their first litmus test over the issue of setting up of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Jammu.
Despite giving a written assurance to the agitating members of the AIIMS coordination committee, an amalgamation of 70 socio-politico and religious organisations on June 18 senior BJP Ministers on Monday failed to obtain an appropriate order from the Central Government over setting up of AIIMS in Jammu by or before July 20, 2015.
The categoric assurance was given by the Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh and his senior cabinet colleague Bali Bhagat after holding negotiations with the members of the AIIMS coordination committee to suspend their 3 day long Jammu bandh call.
