(): Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, during her three-day visit to this holy city, offered prayers at one of the Dwadasa Jyotirlingas Kashi Vishwanath Temple (KVT) during the ongoing auspicious month of Shravan here on Sunday.
When she reached Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, the Union Finance Minister was warmly welcomed by the senior temple officers and priests. Besides, she also reached adjoining Maa Annapurna Mandir where she was welcomed by Mahant Shankar Puri after her darshan pujan.
Mahant gave detailed information about the social work being done by the temple administration during his talks with the Union Finance Minister. On behalf of Annapurna Mandir, the Mahant presented angvastrum and momento to Nirmala Sitharaman.
