Bringing an end to years of financial strain and uncertainty, 51 families received their No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and possession letters for homes in the Leisure Valley Adarsh Awas Yojana project at Tech Zone IV, Greater Noida West.
The handover ceremony, held on the evening of October 23, was presided over by R Venkataramani, Attorney General for India and Court Receiver (Amrapali), alongside Dr KP Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC (India) Limited.
The event marked a significant milestone, as Adarsh Awas Yojana was the last remaining stalled Amrapali project Phase-I where handovers had not yet commenced. With this delivery, all stalled Amrapali projects undertaken by NBCC under the Supreme Court’s supervision have now started handing over units to homebuyers.
Spread across 5.1 acres, the project comprises eight 33-storey towers housing 1,904 apartments equipped with modern amenities, including a clubhouse, sports facilities, and zero-discharge sustainable water infrastructure.
NBCC is on the verge of completing all 24 residential projects in Phase-I. Of the 37,250 units in its scope, approximately 35,000 have been completed and 23,700 handed over without passing on cost escalations or GST increases to buyers. Work executed so far stands at nearly Rs 13,000 crore across both phases.
