The Indian American Advisory Council (IAAC) of House of Republican Conference (HRC) of US Parliament on Thursday demanded that a dialogue on the anti-India US Immigration Reform Bill S-744 should be of top priority of the Prime Minister designate Narendra Modi government and termed this bill as a major challenge for the newly elected Indian govt. Chairman of the IAAC-HRC Shalabh Kumar said that the Bill would damage Indian business and IT industry in India affecting around five lakh engineers from India and cause a financial loss to the tune of `1.875 lakh crore in Indian exports to United States on yearly basis.
