Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday said that the Delhi Secretariat is open for everyone today. Unlike earlier times when people couldn’t even enter these premises.
“We have brought the public, the government, and society together,” said the Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during the release of two books at an event held at the Delhi Secretariat.
The Chief Minister launched ‘He Call Me Mama’ by Jeena Chahal Dhanakhar and ‘Karm Vigyan’ by Chandragupt Kailash in the presence of several dignitaries, including Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta, cabinet ministers and senior officials of the Delhi government.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Gupta said that her only goal is to help Delhi regain its true identity and historic pride. “We are fully committed to developing Delhi into a modern and dignified capital.
We are going among the people, listening to their pain, and working to solve their problems. Our aim is singular — to give Delhi the recognition and respect it truly deserves,” she said.
The Chief Minister spoke candidly about her personal dedication to public service, stating that every moment of her life and every bit of her energy is being devoted to the service and progress of Delhi.
“If I am giving my time to the state and not my own children and family, then this time must be truly worthwhile. I want to see every bit of my life contributing to the development of this state and the well-being of its people,” she said.
CM Gupta emphasised the importance of karma (action) over the desire for success. “Victory or defeat doesn’t matter. It is action that holds the fruit.
“Even if success doesn’t always come, the power of commitment is greater. We must continue doing our duty with sincerity — what is destined will come our way,” she added.
