As part of the Swachchh Bharat campaign, the Additional Chief Medical Superintendent of Northern Railway Deepak Saxena conducted a cleanliness and hygiene campaign along the tracks and the railway colony situation in the Tughlakbad area of Delhi Division of Indian Railways. Senior railway officials and track maintenance personnel also surveyed the clogging of drainage system in the locality. The Saxena-led team also inspected immunisation of children, the health standards of other residents and also distributed chlorine tables to arrest water borne diseases and for general awareness pamphlets with description of health and hygiene standards were also distributed to the residents and railway employees.
