Staff Reporter

After traders’ indefinite strike in Dankaur area protesting the murder of management head of Dankaur Degree College, Manmohan Goyal, Noida Police on Sunday arrested two murder accused.

Police said that the arresting was made after preliminary investigation into the case. Meanwhile, traders’ associations of Gautam Budh Nagar have announced a strike across the district. According to the police, two accused — Deepak and Jaipal — are residents of nearby Imalia village. “We are also searching their other associates. The locals have been requested to not protest as we will ensure justice in the case,” said a senior police official of Noida.

It may be noted that Manmohan Goyal was murdered by assailants on Saturday night while he was on his way to Dankaur market. Just after the protest, locals burnt down the Dankaur police station.
