Continuing their attack on RSS-BJP over “growing intolerance” in the country, CPI(M) on Tuesday said six left parties will join hands to launch a nationwide campaign against communal hate offensive allegedly spearheaded by the right-wing outfits in the first week of December.

Speaking to presspersons here, CPI(M) general secretary Sitaram Yechury accused right-wing outfits of undermining country’s secular foundations creating insecurity amongst minorities and also hailed protests launched by intellectuals against such “intolerance”.

“Six left parties, CPI(M), CPI, CPI(Ml)-liberation, AIFB, RSP and SUCI(C) have given a call to launch a nationwide campaign against communal hate offensive spearheaded by RSS and patronized by this BJP led Government, from 1st to 6th December, 2015,” Yechury said.

Yechury made the remark following conclusion of party’s four-day central committee meeting yesterday. Among other issues, the Rajya Sabha MP said the committee analysed performance of left parties in the recently-concluded Bihar Assembly polls and maintained the election verdict will help strengthen the fight against right-wing communal forces in the country.

Yechury said he will be attending Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony in Patna on November 20.
