Cong believes in hate politics, says Rajnath

SR

launching a scathing attack on the Congress-led UPA Government at the Centre, Bharatiya Janata Party national president Rajnath Singh on Thursday said the grand old party always indulged in divide and rule policy through pitting one community against other and sowing the seeds of communal hatred just for the sake of grabbing minority votes.

Terming it as the most corrupt political party, Singh charged that instead of providing succour, the Congress always indulged in making fun of both poor and the poverty. Citing the latest erosion in UPA ranks, Singh said that the Government has been reduced to minority and that the parliamentary polls could be held any time around November this year. He also called upon party workers to showcase the State Government’s achievements to the public.

“Wrong policies of the UPA Government and large scale corruption perpetrated by Congress leaders are the root cause of spiralling price rise making the life of poor miserable. Whenever Congress comes to power, inflation calls the shot due to its half-hearted approach,’’ the BJP chief charged.

He added that present UPA Government is bereft of courage as Pakistan could not have escaped unpunished even as Pakistan Rangers ventured in to Indian territory and beheaded two Army Jawans and Italian Marines shot dead two Indians in Arabian Sea off Kerala coast and Government failed to generate proper international response.

Notably, Singh inaugurated the newly constructed BJP State Office at Dumartarai, Raipur outer, after landing at Mana Airport by a special flight. Addressing large number of party workers on this occasion he recalled the contribution of late Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pt Deendayal Upadhyay, Kushbhau Thakre and others besides mentioning philosophy of Ekatma Manavwad propounded by Pt. DD Upadhyay advocating to practise the politics of humanity and ideology of justice.

Party general secretary and Chhattisgarh state in-charge Jagat Parakash Nadda, national (organisational) general secretary Ramlal, BJP state president Ramsewak Paikra, Mahila Morcha president and Durg MP Saroj Pande, Rajya Sabha member Nand Kumar Sai, state Culture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, industry minister Rajesh Munat, Panchayat minister Hemchand Yadav and other ministers as well as party leaders along with Chief Minister Raman Singh were also present on the occasion.
