Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal presided a dinner meeting of his Cabinet-designate in which a roadmap for making Delhi, a 21st century Global City and development initiatives to be taken on priorities in next three months after forming the Government were discussed.
The meeting also focused on developing a roadmap to improve infrastructure of the city.
Meanwhile, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA),Vijender Gupta accused AAP national Convener Arvind Kejriwal for misusing the power.
While congratulating Kejriwal for his win in Delhi elections, Gupta expressed his discontentment over a dictatorial circular issued by Directorate of Education (DoE) of Delhi government on Friday.
Gupta also wrote a letter to Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal and demanded his intervention in the matter.
This may be recalled that in a circular from the office of Directorate of Education (DoE), Delhi Government has asked its teachers to attend the searing ceremony of Chief Minister which will be held in Ramlila Maidan on Sunday.
According to the BJP MLA, the circular makes it compulsory for officers of Directorate of Education, faculty of DIET, SCERT to attend the swearing-in-ceremony.
It also directs Heads of Schools to attend the ceremony with 20 teachers, Vice Principal, EMC Coordinators, Happiness Coordinators, TDCs of Schools and all Mentor Teacher besides Vice Chair persons of the School Management Committees.
"I had hoped that on re-election Kejriwal’s entire focus would be on strengthening good governance and democratic values. But unfortunately he has been proved wrong after issuing the directorial circular in the name of Directorate of Education,” said Gupta inculpating the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader for misusing the officials working in departments like Directorate of Education to serve his political interests.
