Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka were sent to judicial custody for two more days on Monday, October 19.
The two were produced before a newly appointed Special Executive Magistrate (SEM) at Mandir Marg police station, the official said.
The extension came amid the allegations made by the CJP that bail proceedings in the case were deliberately delayed to keep its two co-convenors from being released.
Das and Ranka were first sent to five-day judicial custody on October 14 after they defied restrictions to protest at Jantar Mantar.
