If the Telangana TDP leaders and cadres were hoping that national president of the party N Chandrababu Naidu will give them a stirring call to go after the TRS Government in the State, they are in for a disappointment. Naidu who flew in to Hyderabad to address the extended State executive committee meeting of TDP in the wake of Revanth Reddy and many other senior leaders from the party advised the leaders and cadres not to lose hope and remain among the people. In a clear indication that Naidu was softening his stand towards the ruling TRS in Telangana, he disapproved slogans like "declaring war against TRS". Referring to the speeches of State TDP President l Ramanna and other leaders that they will wage war against the TRS Government Naidu said, "some leaders here are using big words. No need for waging war against anybody. If you raise the issues of the people, they will elect you".
