After senior State Minister Partha Chatterjee, Manik Bhattacharya now it is the turn of another Trinamool Congress MLA Jiwan Krishna Saha whose house has been raided by the officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation in connection to the school level recruitment scam.
Saha’s house at Baroan in Murshidabad district was being raided for the past 48 hours and he had been kept under apparent house arrest,sources close to his family said.
The raid which started amid a dramatic incident of the TMC MLA lobbing two of his mobile phones and a pendrive straight into the pond just behind the high wall of his village house. While the CBI sleuths managed to recover one mobile set after about 36 hours of search operation that included the pumping out of the water of the pond these cond phone was still being looked for and was feared to have beenstuck in themud.
