Bikes, cars, tractors, and even supporters on foot have been announcing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s arrival before his appearance in Punjab for his Fateh Rally on Sunday.

For driving home the message of his arrival in the State for his third rally in this part of the region, the supporters have been zooming on the fast track of publicity — leaving behind the age-old means of a loudspeaker or dhol. Modi addressed his first political rally at Madhopur in Pathankot district after his elevation as the BJP election campaign chief, and attracted huge crowd from all walks of life, even from the neighbouring States of Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh.

Only previous week, on Sunday, Modi addressed a rally at Sujanpur Tira in Himachal Pradesh.  With the aim to draw together maximum audience for Modi’s second rally in Punjab, that is expected to sound the poll bugle in the State, the party’s State unit has left no stone unturned to ensure the same.
