BJP will win in 4 States due to anti-Cong wave, says Jaitley

Charging Congress with corruption and non-performance, BJP on Wednesday said there was a “severe anti-Congress wave” in the country and asserted that it would win in four poll-bound States, including Rajasthan.

“BJP would return to power in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh as people had accepted incumbent Chief Ministers Raman Singh and Shivraj Singh Chouhan as their most trusted and creditable leaders, while in Rajasthan and Delhi, BJP would have comfortable majority to form the new Governments after December 8 results,” BJP leader Arun Jaitley told a Press conference here.

Four States’ referendum will help in deciding BJP’s next year’s lok Sabha poll agenda and BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi’s support will grow tremendously, he said.

Claiming that the anti-Congress wave was a trend, Jaitley said the Centre’s mismanagement of economy, corruption cases like 2G, CWG, and lapses in internal security were affecting the common man, who found the Congress leadership “indecisive and non-inspirational.”
