To ensure that a large section of people use their right to franchise during civic elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party will carry out a special campaign to get the names of left out voters included in the electoral rolls and for this the party will also carry out a door-to-door campaign.

BJP state president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary and state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh on Friday held a virtual meeting with the party's state office-bearers, regional presidents, district presidents, district in-charges and party officials related to the upcoming urban local bodies’ elections.

The BJP state chief said that the party would organise a programme at the ward level on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on October 31. Before this, on October 30, the party workers will collectively listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Mann ki Baat" programme at the booth level.

Chaudhary, while discussing the strategy of the party for the civic elections, said that the workers should prepare themselves for the polls with full strength to ensure the party's victory in the upcoming civic elections.

“Our organisational structure and the hard work of the party workers will give us success in the civic elections,” he said.

The BJP state president said that the Central government under the leadership of Narendra Modi and the BJP government of the state under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath had done unprecedented public welfare works.

“Now, it is our responsibility to go to the people and seek their support and blessings in the civic elections,” he said.

Dharampal Singh, while discussing the preparations for the urban local bodies polls, said that the work of getting the names of the voters left out of the electoral rolls included was of paramount importance.
