BJP stalling Parliament to derive gain in lS polls: lalu

PNS

RJD chief lalu Prasad has accused the BJP of stalling proceedings of Parliament on the coal block issue by keeping an eye on the lok Sabha elections.

Yadav told mediapersons in Patna on Friday that the BJP was consistently stalling proceedings of Parliament with an objective to derive political mileage out of it and improve its prospects in the next general elections.

“It is incomprehensible why the Opposition was not allowing both Houses of Parliament to transact its important business when the Supreme Court is monitoring the probe into the coalgate,” he added.

“So many important Bills need to be debated and passed but the BJP is not allowing the House to function for its political gain,” he remarked.

“It is a matter between the CBI and the judiciary and  Parliament need not to be stalled in this matter,” he reasoned.

“let us leave it to the Supreme Court to decide who was the Minister, doing wrong or who was the responsible for the scam,” he added.

The RJD chief also took a dig at Nitish Kumar, asking why he was not taking the name of his Gujarat counterpart, Narendra Modi when he was so much “disturbed” with his probable projection as the PM candidate for the 2014 lok Sabha elections.
