Union Minister and senior BJP leader Narayan Rane said here on Monday that the "foul" language used by Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray against his predecessor Devendra Fadnavis and the RSS was a “blot” on the culture and traditions of the state.
Addressing a news conference at the State BJP headquarters in south Mumbai, Rane said that at his party workers’ rally held on Saturday, Uddhav had nothing to talk about his government’s achievements during the last two and half years. “Like always, the chief minister heaped abuses on the BJP leaders and RSS,” he said.
“We expected the chief minister to talk about his government’s achievements. He did not have anything to say on how it helped the people during the last two and half years. The state government did not pay even one rupee as compensation to the people affected by the natural calamities. He (Uddhav) used to run his government by addressing video conferences from his home. He made no attempt to understand the problems of various sections of the state,” Rane said.
