An application for the Bihar legislators has been developed through which they can get the updated information on various health indicators of their respective constituencies and districts. This Android Application was launched on Tuesday by Bihar Assembly Speaker Vijay Kumar Choudhary.
Developed by an NGO Centre for Catalyzing Change (C3), this App, called Swastha Samiksha Android Application (SS App) will focus on information related to critical outcomes like MMR, IMR, anaemia and their consequences on overall development in the State, budgetary allocation for health, spending and bottlenecks, minimum standard of quality for facility level care and problems faced by communities in accessing services that are guaranteed by the Government.
The MlAs can access to such information about their respective constituencies and all the figures would be official. The Speaker said that he was impressed with the kind of work done by the C3 in Bihar in health sector and appreciated that the MlAs could get access to latest information, news feed, other details and status about their constituencies for their ready reference which would also help them while participating in debates as well in raising questions in the Assembly.
