With President Pranab Mukherjee set to cut short his Bihar visit and senior BJP leader Ananth Kumar’s arrival in the State capital on Friday, the Bihar unit of the BJP has geared up to leave no stone unturned to make the rally ‘historic’. The prime ministerial candidate of the party, Narendra Modi will be the star speaker of the rally and is likely to formally launch the party’s campaign in the State for the lok Sabha polls.

BJP general secretary Ananth Kumar visited Bihar and had a meeting with senior State party leaders for the preparation of the rally in the State. Party sources said that he directed the State leaders not to leave any stone unturned to make the rally a grand success.

Meanwhile, the State party unit has booked 10 trains and several buses for the people who would come from different parts of the State for the rally. Party leader Nand Kishore Yadav said that the trains will run from Purnia, Kishanganj, Araria, Bhagalpur, Bettiah, Saharsha, Samastipur and Bagaha. “Buses too will be hired even from neighbouring States for the convenience of the rally-goers,” he said.

The BJP has also asked all its 56,000 booth committees to send at least 10 people from their side to attend the rally and over five lakh people are expected to attend it,” said party leader Nand Kishore Yadav. “We’ve also posted invitation letters to all party leaders and volunteers even at village and blocks levels to attend the rally,” he said.

The party leaders even have started sending messages through SMS to people to come at the rally and hear Narendra Modi’s speech. A round-the-clock and free online registration  facility has been offered for the participants of the rally.

Besides big hotels, the party has also booked almost all the community halls in and around Patna to accommodate the rally participants and leaders. The BJP legislators and leaders have also been asked to make arrangement at their residence too for those coming in to participate in the rally.

The State capital is agog with huge hoardings, billboards, posters and banners depicting Narendra Modi with the catchline Nai Soch, Nai Umeed (New Thinking, New Hope). Besides, several products too have flooded the markets of Patna with brand NaMo embossed everywhere.

From NaMo mobile phone to kurta, T-shirts, saree and even tea stalls, all are decorated with NaMo pictures, applications and songs.
